Gox box has an error when echoing text entered. Text shows up in the chat log
(from all parties talking) but not in the main chat window.

Confirming in git. If you go to options and allow sending messages to yourself,
it's easy to test.

Native riched20 works around it. +richedit attached.

Gox Box +richedit trace

With wine-1.1.27-40-g0c862de, Gox Box does echo text to the chat text box, but
it fails to place each chat line on its own line. Instead, each line is simply
appended to the contents of the text box without any line break.

It's still an issue in Wine 1.1.33 and winetricks riched20 doesn't help. Gox
Box version is 2.5

It's not richedit that's the problem. I solved this issue by installing the
some of the corefonts. I can't remember which font's I installed only that I
copied the basic fonts from a windows xp install and it worked fine after that.

Come to think of it yes that is the fix I applied on one machine. I had another
linux box running mandrake 2005 with wine 1.0 that I just copied over the
entire fonts folder from a windows box (I can only imagine how horrible that
is.) and it was never an issue on that box. Hope that helps.
