--- Comment #4 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2008-02-13 17:32:00 --- Confirmed. I can reproduce this with the trial.
When you start the trial, you are given a choice of two versions, pro and regular. If you pick "regular", the app is fairly stable. But if you instead pick "pro", doing "File / New / Flash document" reliably hangs the app. (Don't turn off the start page, since then it tries to reopen what you had before, and runs right into the bug.)

--- Comment #7 from Eduardo companheiro.vermelho@gmail.com 2008-04-07 22:11:35 --- Still present on wine-0.9.59 on Gentoo even if using a fresh new wineprefix. It would be really bad if Wine reached version 1.0 without this bug solved. It makes much harder for Linux users to work on WebDevelopment!

--- Comment #8 from Micah Knight interknighterrant@gmail.com 2008-07-10 15:40:08 --- Running Wine 1.1.0 and Macromedia Flash MX 2004 Professional. Installs fine, loads fine (few warning messages in the terminal, but it is working fine in the GUI). When I go to open or to create a new document it throws the "err:local:LOCAL_GetBlock not enough space in USER heap 10d7 for 80 bytes" over and over again until the program locks up. I got this error after the command "fixme:storage:StgCreateDocfile Transacted mode not implemented." was ran in the terminal. This was during a "new document" call, if that helps.
This is basically just to confirm bug still exists on Wine 1.1.0 and Ubuntu Hardy Heron

--- Comment #9 from dhurt@sightbrite.com 2008-08-06 07:47:24 --- Go here and install the updater to version 7.2 http://www.download.com/Adobe-Flash-MX-2004-Updater/3000-6676_4-10247618.htm...
Install it. Everything that wasn't working before now works. I too had the same issues using wine 1.1.2 on ubuntu and Flash Professional MX 2004. I couldn't create a flash document or open one. After the update all functionality seems complete and flawless. I'll report back if anything changes.
