Works fine here with vlc 1.1.11. Please specify the exact version that's
failing for you, and a download URL if possible.

Console log of first run

Can confirm here on latest git. Attached is first run log (not that on
successive runs anything changes).
It was not possible to directly revert suspected regression commit.
