AOL Instant Messenger 6.8 and 6.9 (probably other similar versions) exit
silently.

This is the entire console output:

OK, if I copy msvcp90.dll to system32 then I can launch AIM6 from the
installer.  msvcp90.dll doesn't lot belong in system32, however.

Subsequent runs result in the same thing though, exiting silently.

This no longer exits silently for me.  It installs fine with a clean
wineprefix.  I used 'winetricks vcrun2008' to install msvcp90, then copied it
to the AIM program directory before running it.  It then crashes shortly after
starting.
