I want wine to be able to play Audio CDs digitally if an app wants to play from the Audio CD. Some old games like Tomb Raider 2 play music from the CD, but if you don't have earphones connected to your CD-ROM and you don't have an analog audio cable between CDROM and Soundcard, you won't hear any music (or cutscene sound, which are also audio tracks in Tomb Raider).
