------- Additional Comments From lucads@email.it 2007-10-04 08:25 ------- It happened the same bug updating wine from 0.9.33 to 0.9.34, the popup window doesn't show anymore after the update, but reinstalling the software from scratch on wine 0.9.34 solved the situation again. Unfortunately reinstalling Origin each time wine is upgraded is very annoying sine usually I create scripts for data analisys that I have to manually reinstall each time one by one.
So it seems that when upgrading wine some settings related to Origin get lost during the update process and I need to reinstall the application in order to make the popup window show again.
So the bug is not solved but it seems to be not a problem related to wine's popup window creation (otherwise reinstalling the application over the same version of wine would not solve the problem) but something related to wine upgrade process, and maybe to a loss of information in some Origin-related configuration file.
