wine output when hovering image and clicking the annotate button

Evernote has a nice image annotation feature, see [1]. When hovering an image,
the annotate button appears, but does nothing when pressed.

See my descritption on Bug 42202

Still happens with Wine 2.0-rc4 and Evernote_6.4.2.3788 for both images and
pdf.

Output looks a bit different.

I confirm that this happens in wine 2.0-rc4 for Evernote 6.4.2.3788 and
6.4.2.3733.

Everything behaves as you said (same broken behavior of Evernote, same error
messages), except for 2 things:

- The hexadecimal values are different, for instance I have "RasEnumEntriesW
((nil),(null),0x1a548050,0x332734,0x1fe6f4)" when I try to annotate images.

- Sometimes I get these additional log messages the first time I click on the
"annotate" button:

fixme:ntdll:NtQueryVolumeInformationFile 0x1c8: faking volume info
fixme:ntdll:NtQueryInformationFile Unsupported class (16)
Thrift: Wed Jan 18 15:38:55 2017 Client connected.
TSimpleServer client died: No more data to read.

And the last 3 lines repeat hundreds of times in the same second!

Wine 4.21 has slightly different behaviour - a black window pops up.
Functionality still broken though.

Terminal output with Wine 5.5

I've retested with Wine 5.5 and Evernote 6.24.2 . A black pop-up window still
appears, and I've captured more the terminal output, including PIDs from the
system journal.

It seems there are lots of d3dcompiler/hlsl_parser errors and fixmes

Don't get the "d3dcompiler/hlsl_parser errors", but:
