Could you test with latest 5.0-rc5?
How can I upgrade the version from this to that? Will I have the ability to change my version without reinstalling desired app?
I wonder why your version available in Ubuntu software is not up to date!

I've now installed staging version and synaptic package manager show that it is 5.0-rc5. But I'm not sure how to use it since I recently used q4wine and it was done the black magic fore me by just clicking on .exe file. but what now?

--- Comment #4 from Nikolay Sivov bunglehead@gmail.com --- It's described here https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#Installing_and_Running_Windows_Applications. Whole FAQ is a good thing to read first too. Make sure you use correct path to wine binaries you just installed, should be /opt/wine-staging/bin/wine on Ubuntu.

--- Comment #7 from Seyyed Mohammad mohammadsdtmnd@hotmail.com --- I tried clean install It seem the problem exists in previous stage of installation which need to run .bat file in admin privilege mod. I tested it in real windows and it got no error, but here we have some error!
The error: Error: failed to read+write: ....
and I looked at those file by 'wine explorer' they from "Properties->Security->Permissions for every one" I can see there is no write Access. We need elevated(administrator) access!
