[Bug 8783] USB serial ports do not work

I'm going to further test it. Now I'm learning some serial kernel stuff things
that might be useful for this. (I hope). As far as I see, there are many people
who happily work with this driver, and some others that are having problems
(like me). There must be some reason for it. Just one little thing: I have not
been able to adjust serial port settings for this adapter. I don't know if it's
normal, but I'm used to do it on standard ports. Should it be something related
 to hardware, or maybe some poor implementation of the driver??
