This is not an Arts related bug ! I'm not using kde.
I'm using alsa and esd on Ubuntu Dapper 6.06
I used sudo modprobe snd-seq and now the errors are :
stemp@caderousse:~$ winecfg
ALSA lib pcm_mmap.c:363:(snd_pcm_mmap) mmap failed: Invalid argument
Creating link /home/stemp/.kde/socket-caderousse.
can't create mcop directory

Do I need Arts or KDE to rune wine ?
