as per this post, multiple reports of installation cannot be completed. No
files are actually copied

Someone mentioned the demo has the same problem too.

I know it worked for me some versions ago. I will run a regression test because
Sins is such a darn good game.

With the real game, all files that are copied with Wine 1.0-rc2, with exception
for d3dx9_36.dll, are copied with Wine 1.1.6. The missing dll results in black
screen and game not starting but that can be corrected with copying the same
dll to the game's installation directory and after that the game starts. Same
happens with demo version.
