I initially installed MVP Baseball 2005 with nary a hitch.  I found information
on the //HKCU//Software//Wine//DirectInput registry key which enabled me to use
my Logitech Dual Action with the game.  However, my dual action has died, so
now I have a Saitek P990.  Setting up the Saitek P990 in the aforementioned
registry key causes the game to crash on startup about 90% of the times I try
to run it.  Interestingly, approximately 10% of the time it runs fine, just
like it did with the Logitech Dual Action.

This issue appears to have been fixed in 0.9.54 and 0.9.55.  Does that mean it
is resolved, or do we have to figure out what caused it?

0.9.56 released, so closing all bugs marked as RESOLVED FIXED.
