The program Origin ( https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=13176 , a games market, something like Steam) crashes the first time I execute it (because it tries to download updates and crashes during this process).
I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits, and Wine 1.7.34 .
I've attached the backtrace as a text file.

--- Comment #1 from jre.winesim@gmail.com --- Did I understand correctly that you never reach the login prompt? Which installer were you using, OriginThinSetup.exe or OriginSetup.exe? In a clean wineprefix?
I have the current version 9.5.3.636 of both and they start up flawlessly, when I test them in a new clean wineprefix.
Debian Jessie (testing), amd64, wine-development 1.7.34.

Yes, I don't reach the login prompt.
Which installer were you using, OriginThinSetup.exe or OriginSetup.exe?
I'm using OriginThinSetup.exe .
In a clean wineprefix?
Nope (but I didn't use winetricks on it, it "only" has flash, air, java, and mono), I have to try it in a clean wineprefix yet.
I have the current version 9.5.3.636 of both and they start up flawlessly, when I test them in a new clean wineprefix.
I've downloaded the same version, but without success in its execution.
Debian Jessie (testing), amd64, wine-development 1.7.34.

P.D.:
Using OriginSetup.exe I hadn't suffered these problems.

--- Comment #4 from Maik Wagner maiktapwagner@aol.com --- Created attachment 51904 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=51904 Console output from 1.7.47
Hello everyone,
on a clean wine-XP-prefix I tried OriginSetup.exe and it tries to update the client and downloads its updates. No problems so far. Unfortunately when the download of the update is finished a window pops up and says "Something went wrong. Please reinstall Origin."
I have attached my console output and hope it makes sense for wine-developers.
Regards,
Maik

--- Comment #5 from jre.winesim@gmail.com --- Maik, what you reported is a duplicate of bug #38417. That bug has a patch (which will probably NOT be added to Wine) and a manual workaround, see Origin's AppDB entry.

Actually it's fixed in wine as we speak. So if this bug is dupe of it this is fixed too.

--- Comment #7 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net --- Hello folks,
likely fixed some time ago. The backtrace hints at 'wininet' component. I investigated few Origin client bugs in the past and didn't encounter this problem.
