Summary: Ubuntu 8.04.2 (64bit), WINE 1.1.23 not opening any apps, attached crash report from one app Product: Wine Version: 1.1.23 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: tom@capi7.ca
After upgrading to 1.1.23, wine seemed to not work at all. I only use it for a couple of applications, specifically a game for my wife called Scrubbles.
When trying to start the game, nothing happened, then a series of crash reports started showing up on the desktop in ~1 minute intervals. I could not read the contents at all, but you might be able to, so i ahve attached a copy of one.
I tried other wine-dependant apps and could not run them either so I uninstalled 1.1.23 and installed the last good (for me) version 1.1.22 and everything seems fine now.
Let me know if there is any other info needed and where to find it/how to access it (in detail please).
Thanks.

Where's the attachment?
I thought it had uploaded, but I guess not. Now it says that it is too large (by a few kb). I'll try to figure it out...

--- Comment #4 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2010-03-11 17:21:39 --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 8 months. Is this still an issue in current (1.1.40 or newer) wine?
