err:comm:BuildCommDCBAndTimeoutsA Unhandled specifier 'ring=?', please report.
It said "please report", so I am. Please let me know if I can provide additional information or testing.
This happens when I run the Lego "Spybotics" application and it attempts to open my serial port.
"Spybotics" is just Mindstorms / RCX game for kids; general Lego Mindstorms information typically applies.
Not sure if it is relevant, but http://www.crynwr.com/lego-robotics/ says: Dave believes the IR device loops back DTR/DSR, and the PC software uses this to detect if the IR device is attached. (scroll down to "Communications" for other possibly-useful information?)
I'll try to follow up with more information.
