Summary: Photoshop CS2 image windows don't paint fully on multi- monitor setups Product: Wine Version: 0.9.59. Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: admin@undefinedfire.com
On a multi-monitor setup with different resolutions Photoshop CS2 image windows do not paint anything below the height of the smallest resolution monitor (May be related to another bug where CS2 panels refuse to be moved below the same height).
This bug is repeatable on .59 from source on Arch Linux but it did not occur in the .59 (K)Ubuntu binary package. Both were on the same machine with mostly identical software installed: KDE 3.5, KWin, nVidia graphics (Latest driver in Arch, whatever version is default in Ubuntu) using TwinView. Both setups had identical display configurations.

--- Comment #2 from Lucas Murray admin@undefinedfire.com 2008-04-27 08:22:37 --- After playing around they look to be different bugs. Bug 12449 causes the bottom part of the windows to remain gray even when moving the window upwards, this bug has the bottom parts of the windows completely unpainted (When I drag another window on top of it a ghost remains, bug 12449 has no ghost) and when the windows are moved upwards they get painted.
I have attached a screenshot of both bugs occurring at once.

--- Comment #7 from Lucas Murray lmurray@undefinedfire.com 2009-02-15 11:14:50 --- "(May be related to another bug where CS2 panels refuse to be moved below the same height)"
Just found out that this is unrelated. If I manually change the _NET_WORKAREA X window property on the root window to contain the full area of both screens the panels can be moved below the break.
This has no effect on the painting bug however (Which still occurs in 1.1.15).
