In the instalation Office 2003 or XP the spelling and grammar check is not installed and the macross in excel is not working

For instance: I have a German (multinational) Office Professional 2003 and the spellcheck is only all types of German or English. When you try on French for instance it is written it can't find the files because of an installer error number 2 (file not found). It is then told to reinstall Microsoft Office Proofing Tool. Italian same as French. Other languages are not installed per default.

In the register, I have proofing toolfiles for 1031,1033,1036 and 1040. However, when looking in the files of Word, I only see directories for 1031 and 1033 (if for English and German then it's the reason why the 2 other languages are not able to start the checking). Do you know all locations that I have to copy the directories from the CD to Wine for 1036 and 1040? There seem to be a couple of places for theses.

Do you have a multilingual version? Does your version have the Microsoft Proofing Tool? Which version of Office do you have (basic, student, professional?). For Office XP I can't tell but for Office 2003 Professional Multilingual it works.

Since I already have the register entries for 1036 (French language) I did copy both directories named 1036 from my XP installation in the respective places of Office11 and System32.
Now I can change the language to French and it doesn't try to install them anymore. However if I start the Spellcheck with an obvious mistake, it still does tell me that the checking had been successfully completed. There is obviously something still missing. Did it check the dictionary at all?? I have the feeling it had been skipped/Everything is seen as OK.
Now it tells me that the proofing help for French had not been found. It should be on my Office 2003 installation CD. Does anyone know which file it is?

I will test for Office 2003. However you have to note, that as for my experience, this only happens for the 3rd, 4th and 5th language (whereby 1st language is 1031 always installed as default and the second language the language of the Office installer since a foreign Windows has English + 4 other languages.
On a standard Windows you have to manually activate these languages on Windows first for the checker (and not only the language files) to be fully installed. On a German Office, I have English and German working properly and French, Italian and Spanish broken.
