After applying the workarounds mentioned in bug #32964 the program starts but only shows a black background.

The black background is gone, controls display fine with wine 1.7.36

The problem was not fixed at all in Wine 1.7.44 as claimed.
It was actually bug 34978 ("Many applications need a EnumDisplayDevicesW implementation for multi-monitor environment support (DisplayFusion, Turbo Tax 2012, WPF 4.x .NET apps, CEFv3 apps, VS Code < 1.16.0)")
Indicators:
* Multi-monitor setup * .NET 4.x app * black UI * continuous spam of 'fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x4f8e3d8,0x00000000), stub!' in console, also seen in OP's attached log
When using one monitor, the app works properly with Wine 1.5.23. The GUI is fully visible. As soon as the second display is active, the "black screen" GUI appears (along with console spam). It also persisted with Wine 1.7.44
That bug was fixed several years later in Wine 4.12. To whom it may concern.
