OLE drag and drop in the Linux->Wine direction does not work, see
http://wiki.winehq.org/DragAndDrop where I have a patch. Foobar2000 is a good
FOSS example app to test with.

drag&drop is a very important feature because it enables to interoperate
between x11 and windows in a very intuitive way.

I'm not sure to post here... but I have a similar problem. In KDE 4 xdnd

(And there's another fun test case in bug 16617; that app interprets
clicking on selected text as a drag and drop operation, and crashes.
Might not be related.  The patch in #5 doesn't help.)

Totally agree with #16 this is a *very* important feature that affects a lot of
apps. Without d&d wine experience decreases a lot.

That Japanese comment isn't a fix for this bug. It appears to be a fix for a
different drag and drop bug - I think the real problem is that Wine's
WM_DROPFILES drop is in ASCII instead of Unicode, which is likely a problem in
Japan.

Thank you though, I will look at it later. It's nice to know my drag and drop
code is being used even on the other side of the world ;-).

Implement "drag from X, drop to Wine"

Huw Davies's commit 6d1ef3a6a64f0fabf05ce1bba5f0ec4373684786 added support for
the "drag from one Wine process, drop to another Wine process" scenario.

This patch should implement the "drag from X, drop to Wine" scenario. Note you
have to apply it to a very recent version of Wine (after commit
6d1ef3a6a64f0fabf05ce1bba5f0ec4373684786).

I'll post it to wine-devel for comments first; it's unlikely to get accepted as
is.
