[Bug 9302] New: Apophysis no longer works under wine

Having recently upgraded to 0.9.43, I attempted to run Apophysis 2.06c, and
have checked both Ubuntu and OpenSUSE platforms.  Both result in the following
error:

fixme:actctx:parse_depend_manifests Could not find dependent assembly
L"Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls"

No window appears on the screen and the process seems to stop.  Hitting ctrl-c
in the main window pops up a 'ctrl-c hit' box that cannot be closed without
killing the wine/Apophysis processes.

I have also tried older versions of Apophysis with the same error.

What version of wine last worked? Is there a demo available to download? Please
(re)move .wine directory, reinstall and retest. If it still occurs, attach full
terminal output (do not paste). Lastly, please run a regression test, to
identify the patch that broke this application:

Did you try to just wait for a minute or so? The app comes up only after quite
a long time. Don't hit ctrl-c, just wait! Could you try that?

Apparently, one must wait an extreme period of time before it starts.  My bad. 
Works fine...delete bug report.

I think the app carries out a lot of calcultions as it tries to work through
all the provided examples. I'm not 100% sure, but i would bet that you'd see
the very same behaviour on windows/ Maybe you could test that , i can't for the
moment.

I'll close the bug. If you happen to find out that it works immediately (no
delay) while running in windows, than please reopen this bug.
