Summary: DISCINFO program can no longer read DVD / CDRW drive capabilities Product: Wine Version: unspecified Platform: PC URL: http://discinfo.rpc1.org OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-programs AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: rankincj@yahoo.com
I have downloaded a program called DISCInfo, which can read the settings and capabilities of a CD-ROM/CD-RW/DVD-ROM etc drive. (Downloaded from http://discinfo.rpc1.org). This program used to work fine in SPTI mode, until about the time that the winecfg tool went "live". However, now it identifies both my DVD-ROM and my CD-RW drives as Hard Disk Drives (although it gets the drive letters right). Not only that, but now I get the following messages written into my kernel log every time as well:
hdc: write_intr: wrong transfer direction! hdd: write_intr: wrong transfer direction!
This application never worked in ASPI mode, and it still doesn't.
