When launching Kingdom Hearts 3 it will first play a video showing some company
logos and after that the game will get stuck on a black screen. I gather it is
supposed to play another video here and that it may be media foundation
shenanigans.

Wine output

Game is installed via the Epic Games Launcher installed directly in Wine (run
the launcher with -opengl to prevent graphical issues).

Attached is a Wine log from running the game exe directly after install to sort
out launcher output. It it ran using the following variables below as suggested
on Linux Gaming Dev Discord

WINEDEBUG=+mci,+quartz,+mfplat,+evr,+dxva2,+wmvcore,+timestamp,+pid,+tid,+seh,+unwind,+threadname,+debugstr,+loaddll,+mscoree

Windows freeze location

Actually checking the game on Windows it freezes on a black screen before the
window in the attached screenshot appears. The videos then start to play
afterwards (on Windows). First time you run the game you also have to setup
language and keyboard layout at the same place but on Linux it froze in a black
screen before it showed.
