Patch didn't work for me, though in all honesty I'm not quite sure if I did it
right:

austin@manlaw:~/wine-git$ git bisect reset
austin@manlaw:~/wine-git$ patch -p0 < patch.diff
austin@manlaw:~/wine-git$ ./configure && make depend && make clean && make
austin@manlaw:~/wine-git$ ./wine dvdshrinksetup.exe

I'll attach the new terminal output shortly.
