Does this demo have the same problem?

Hello
I installed the demo and then I tried to launch it:
manuel@kubuntu:/mnt/daten/wine/win_c/programme/Eidos/HitmanBloodMoneyDemo$ wine HitmanBloodMoney.exe fixme:ntdll:NtQueryObject Unsupported information class 3 fixme:debugstr:CheckRemoteDebuggerPresent (0xffffffff)->(0x12382f4): Stub! fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x123684c,0x00000000), stub! manuel@kubuntu:/mnt/daten/wine/win_c/programme/Eidos/HitmanBloodMoneyDemo$
This is the console output and this is the window:

After I downloaded a no cd crack I can start the demo but then it crashes anyway.
I attach the console output of the demo.
THX

This is an other error than in full version of the game I think.

"wine HitmanBloodMoney.exe" crash with output (missing d3dx9_36 calls?)
You need to use a native d3dx9_36.dll. We're still working on implementing d3dx9, but progress on it is not very far, yet.

What do you mean by "it"? The original bug (crash after intro videos) or crash on startup due to missing d3dx9_36 calls?
I can confirm that the latter is still there, in the demo from your link above as well as in the full game, on 1.1.22. The missing function is d3dx9_36.dll.D3DXCreateEffectCompiler (This is the same as bug 11675, is it not?)

--- Comment #15 from Tony Wasserka tony.wasserka@freenet.de 2009-06-02 11:55:26 --- Depends on whether the game crashed due to an unimplemented d3dx9_27 dll or because of other reasons (the bug reporter didn't say whether he was using a native d3dx9_27 dll). If this bug was only due to the unimplemented functions, it can be closed.

ONE problem per bug.
Reported fixed.
Shouldn't this better be marked as duplicate for bug 11675? The information that accumulated here when the discussion diverged from the bug the OP most likely was encountering might be helpful over there?
(And the OP most likely saw a different bug than 11675, since he could see the introductional videos.)
