Invalid IL code

When  Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2018 is installed, Settings.exe is executed.
It crashes with the exception in the attachment.

Now I get: "err:module:load_mscoree Failed to load mscoree.dll" (the dll
override is created during the dotnet40 installation).

No. It needs a 64bit prefix (at least the system requirements say that 64bit is
necessary).

I see, .NET in 64bit is a bit problematic. Probably best if you install it
without winetricks, just running the offline installer. You'd probably want a
fresh wineprefix for that though.

Did anyone have luck with that?

I've got the same problem.
Wine 64-bit version and no chance to install dotnet 4.5 even with the offline
installer (it crashes with an unhandled exception).

Sorry, no such luck. I get the exact same problems. Everytime the mscoree is
missing, but I don't know why.

Sidenote, it only get that far with wine-staging, vanilla wine crashes way
earlier.
