In-game sound (music, effects, commentary, everything) will become garbled
after a certain time period playing.  No related errors pop up in terminal
session on occurrence; however, issue persists through Wine restart until the
machine is restarted.  Any subsequent launch of the game after sound garbling
occurs results in the following errors [logfile attached].

Killing pulseaudio seems to rectify...so far.

Which makes it a PA bug, not Wine's. Especially that completely exiting Wine
doesn't fix the problem.
