Summary: Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer crashes on startup Product: Wine Version: 1.0.0 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: myr.jedi@gmail.com
Created an attachment (id=14197) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=14197) episode 1 racer terminal output
Install works fine; opening menu works fine; crashes after clicking play. In winecfg I have tryed windows versions 98 and XP. I have tryed with and without desktop emulation. I have tryed with and without the Pixel shader. All with same result.
Any other suggestions? I would be happy to get this working; it crashes intermittently while playing it on winXP.
I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 with wine 1.0.0 from the repo.
Thank you.

--- Comment #5 from Adam Bittner myr.jedi@gmail.com 2008-06-27 23:57:42 --- I have the game working now; I had to set resolution to 640x480. poor but functional. thanks

--- Comment #7 from Adam Bittner myr.jedi@gmail.com 2008-06-30 15:46:43 --- to be clear: any resolution higher than 640x480 crashes the game upon starting, regardless of fullscreen/virtual desktop settings.

--- Comment #8 from Adam Bittner myr.jedi@gmail.com 2008-06-30 20:57:06 --- I believe this is a regression because it seems to work in higher resolutions using the wine 9.28 that was installed when I had PlayOnLinux install the game. Unfortunately graphics and sound did not work as well in the older version.
