Service Pack 3 installation log

Starting from 1.1.5 and up to 1.1.11 service pack for MS Office 2003 can't be
installed with "err:msi:ready_media Cabinet not found:" error.
In 1.1.4 patching works.
Attaching a log, will do regression testing in a few days (as soon as my time
allows).

Speaking about workarounds, symlinking all .cab files from original Office 2003
distributive to $WINEPREFIX/drive_c/windows/Installer is working as one.

I believe it's related to bug 13590.

I forget to mention that I'm installing -FullFile Service pack that don't
require original CD in Windows.

Installed with WINEDEBUG=+msi,+msidb,+cabinet.

Please clear your wineprefix (mv ~/.wine ~/.wine-save), install O2k3, and then
try to install SP3 again.  Please report back if the install still fails.

log failed install Office 2003 SP3 in 1.1.16

Fails for me in 1.1.16 in a fresh install of Office 2003 Pro in a clean
wineprefix.

Cannot test with wine 1.1.21 because of bug 17600 that prevents Office from
installing.

Both bugs are msi related, couldn't that patch possibly interfere with this
bug's origin?

I've managed to test it and it works fine with patch from bug 17600.
It seems like that bug affects installing Service Pack 3 as well as Office 2003
installation itself, because if I try to install SP3 with vanilla Wine after
installing Office 2003 with patched wine, Service Pack installation fails with
the same error message about custom-action-something.

However, the bug reported originally in this thread is no longer occurs with
current wine and I'm think we can safely close it.
