I've attached a sound log for this one. I can't find a demo where the problem could be reproduced (but maybe there is one).
Tested with: Windows Vista (without Wine), GeForce 9600M GS--the program works fine here Ubuntu 13.04, GeForce 9600M GS (NVIDIA driver 313) Mac OS X 10.7.5, ATI HD 2600 Pro, Mac Driver/X11

Unfortunately, this log is all I got. Installing dsound and/or directmusic through Winetricks doesn't help. Maybe Bruno Jesus would have more info on this?

I run autorun.exe, and the laugh effect plays fine. No special configuration or installation, wine installation is vanilla.

Yup, the same version. Maybe it has been fixed for Linux (I tested it on Linux as well, some time ago, but now I don't have any distro on my hard drive) and not for OS X. We need more people to test this.

Is this still an issue in Wine 2.0 (or later)?
