Water outside the game arena is static and looks ok. On the beach there are lines of waves (they move but no waves).

I have the same issue running Tropico 3 demo with Wine-1.1.40. On the lowest graphical settings the sea is completely black, on medium or higher settings they are missing just like on zil's screenshots.

In options appeard postprocessing high, earlier in wine 1.3.6 was only medium. But dont see any visual difference.
When you set scene resolution to high water is still missing, on medium and low its okay. err:d3d_surface:IWineD3DSurfaceImpl_BindTexture >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_ENUM (0x500) from glBindTexture @ surface.c / 2547 err:d3d_surface:IWineD3DSurfaceImpl_BindTexture >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_ENUM (0x500) from glTexParameteri(dimension, GL_TEXTURE_WRAP_S, GL_CLAMP_TO_EDGE) @ surface.c / 2549 More in attached file. Should I make another bug entry because couldnt find such? Or this will be unset from duplicate because its still about no water and no point to make another bug?

If you have screenshots with ultra settings under both Windows and wine that that don't look the same, please file a new bug, and specify your graphics card and driver,
