------- Additional Comments From felix.nawothnig@t-online.de 2005-03-07 07:16 ------- First at all: Forgot to mention, I'm using current CVS - maybe you should try updating and see if it got fixed in the meantime...
Really!? Hmm, must just be something to do with me then. And 72mb is way wayyy bigger than anything i'm uploading. I'm uploading an 11000kb PHP file! It gets stuck at 100% every time. Other files, smaller, do not.
How long does it take to upload it for you?
I dont know the other information. The FTP server is just ftp.verted.net,
FYI, ftp.verted.net is running ProFTPD 1.2.10 on Linux.
not sure about [...] the TCP connection.
You can use a packet sniffer (Ethereal for example) to figure that out.
I dont think it's related to this though, because the problem never occured whilst running Windows, but in Wine it does. It must be something to do with my setup then.
No, why? I don't claim that the bug is in ProFTPD (or something) but some differences between your uploads and mine probably trigger the bug (in Wine).

Could be the file itself.. Somehow I wouldnt be at all surprised if the file is being uploaded in a way that the FTP interprets it, instead of just taking the file and storing it like it should......
Highly unlikely as FTP uses seperate connections to transfer files.
