err:ntlm:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. err:ntlm:SECUR32_initNTLMSP Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution.
Is there a lot...Try installing winbind.
Also, winetricks flash may help.

Please try again with winbind installed.
Log also says

I doubt the installer would insist on being able to access those Terminal Services dlls, but you never know, maybe that's related to your woes.

what winetricks item gives regapi and winsta? I know I've done it before... In DNS10 the program runs cheerfully with or without, even though without it throws up lots of error messages.

--- Comment #9 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2010-11-14 13:34:50 CST --- Does DNS 10 also complain about those two dlls?
I don't think there is a winetricks verb for those.

I installed winbind4 because that seemed to be the newer one. The regapi.dll and winsta.dll I got from generic download sites on the internet.

Does DNS 10 also complain about those two dlls?
Yes. It complains quite a bit. It generates all kinds of error messages. With DNS10 I once installed regapi and winsta, and got all the error messages to go away. And there was no change that I could detect in the program's functioning.

If any more information is needed that dgnsvc holds the program up, this may be it. I started running the program from terminal, and was able to do set-up and complete training without a problem. Then it froze. This is the entire terminal output.

--- Comment #26 from Susan Cragin susancragin@earthlink.net 2011-05-21 06:11:23 CDT --- Hey, this is fixed. As of wine-1.3.20-230-g456e48e DNS11 now installs. It gives a warning that automatic training scheduling cannot be set, and then it finishes installing.
It now goes all the way through training and then hangs up after it processes the voice information and before it displays the little "Did you know" window.
