Wine 1.1.17 +loaddll +tid

Call of Duty 4 Demo causes an unhandled exception and hangs, and has to be
killed.

AppDB claims to be Gold for Wine 1.1.3 but a segmentation fault occurs when
trying that version.

"winetricks directx9" does not help.

ATI Technologies Inc RV280 [Radeon 9200] (rev 01)

I don't know how to grab more info than this.  Is there a better command than
lspci to pull graphics details?

And I can't use ATI's graphics driver cos they, apparently, only make drivers
for 64-bit (which actually uses 32-bit drivers but refuses to install on 32-bit
systems).

I guess your graphic card isn't made for the game.

Minimum System Requirements :
      Processor: Pentium 4 2.4 GHz or faster / AMD64 2800+ or faster
      Memory: 512 MB RAM (XP) or 768 MB RAM (Vista)
      Video Card: GeForce 6600 / Ati Radeon 9800Pro or better
      Hard Drive: 8GB

See also bug 10010 . There was someone with an ati 9250se and someone with a
geforce fx5700LE, both couldn't get it working on wine, too.

Does it work on windows with this card?

Windows, in typical style, currently doesn't work on my PC and has to be
reinstalled.

May as well close this.  If I do get it working on Windows, then I'll reopen
it.
