The mouse pointer lags less than a second when moving the mouse, then gets super fast and difficult to control. The issue manifest itself both while playing the game and in game menus. Configuring the "MouseWarpOverride" option provides no evident benefit.

The mouse issue still affects Wine 1.7.33.

I retested with wine 1.7.38 recurring to a new prefix: wine_maximus. The mouse issue persist. You'll find two log files attached: * wine-01.log : Standard log * wine-02.log : Set WINEDEBUG=all+event,eventlog .

I can't reproduce the problem in plain Wine 1.7.38, tested with Space Hack (Steam) and with Maximus XV demo. Interestingly, I get uncontrollable mouse movement in the game when using the CSMT patchset.

I'm using a plain Wine 1.7.38 to test the Maximus XV demo. No patches added to source code when building the package.
The test distribution is a Slackware 14.1 64 bit multilib. Xorg 1.14.3 Ati binary drivers 13.25.5
