Gregor, can you verify that setting windows version to win98 at least lets you run ok?
The problem under win nt looks like copy protection, which is potentially fixable, but which we aren't especially likely to fix any time soon.
Works fine in win98 mode. I don't think it's copy protection, but probably something similar to 3dmark when running in win2k/xp mode, it's trying to get info from ntoskrnl about memory/mainboard/drivers/etc. Launching it in win2k mode after disabling ntoskrnl and winedevice allows it to work (the error still pops up, but the information isn't blank).
