--- Comment #3 from Zrubi mail@zrubi.hu 2011-02-12 18:21:14 CST --- The (main) lobby window is not affected till you haven't opened any tables. After that its enough to minimize any pokerstars window or changing desktop, and it will freeze ALL the time.

--- Comment #7 from profmarrow@hotmail.com 2011-06-20 16:42:58 CDT --- I suppose the problem born on how Wine manage the emulation. Basically, the pokerstar client refresh continuosly the room's list, or a player list during a tournament. Refresh is a complete redraw from wine, a continuous stress. Not enough, any popup description like country's player on mouseover, overstress wine. When popup window with country name disappear, a black rectange replace it. Waiting or moving your mouse on an other player, seems force a refresh, removing the old black rectange (but obiouvsly, adding a new one). All this troubles together, obiouvsly, with any accidental minimize command hangs the pokerstar client completely, forcing a restart of wine , pokerstar's client is gone. Maybe is wine's emulation. As much i would prefer to suppose the reason is the new client. Old one, as reported, was working perfectly. So maybe, the new client overstress wine's emulation. Processors goes on 80 100% use, desktop goes dark, freezing. Killing the process, fix. Sorry for bad english, i hope this analysis will help.

You mean that after updating to 1.4 it started working? Then it should be marked as fixed.

Hello everyone,
wine 1.7.32 on openSUSE "Factory" (Rolling Release) here. I can change between virtual desktops on LXDE okay and can get back into the game okay. (There is a slight hang though but personally I find it acceptable) The only issue that I had was that opening the news section caused a program error. PokerStars keeps running though. I have attached the backtrace.

--- Comment #21 from Kostas hunter18@gmail.com --- I am running Pokerstars 7 on wine 1.7.38 version and i confirm that the prog crashes very often. I have to kill the process manually and restart the computer in order to play again. I can't say what is going wrong as sometimes i can play 3-4 hours without hanging and sometimes it hangs after a couple of minutes playing.
My OS is Ubuntu 14.04.2 64bit. The latest output from terminal is the following. If you need any further info please tell me what you need.
