log when CS:S crashs after change graphic options and accept them

Hello,

do the following to reproduce this bug for you:

start CS:S
goto options>graphic>advanced
now change one of the detail options [e.g. "modeledtails"] 
then click "Ok" and then "accept"  [or how it is namned in the englisch
version], tha game will now "hang" and then it will crash [or it will
immediatley crash...that difference sometime it hang and then crash and
sometimes it crashes immediateley]

You will find a log in the attachment

Console output of wine command, actual command in comment box.

I can confirm this behavior when trying to apply changes to the options > video
> advanced page in Counter-Strike Source. More info is available if needed. I

did get a warning from Steam saying that my windows xp video card drivers were
out of date, so I will be updating the linux driver through my envy script. I
may also try Windows 2000 mode, though I don't know it that will help. If any
devs need more info email me at teh_g33k at teh yahoo dot com

okay, I can now say, that it is an ATI/AMD specific bug.

I've buyed me an new pc with an nvidia card and there it works, on the PC with
the ATI card the same behavior as descriped...

Please specific which card / driver version you're using. Saying "I have an ATI
card" is rather vague.

OK, my nvidia driver is 169.12 and I'm using a GeForce 5xxx series card. Wine
version is 0.9.60 and my OS is 32bit.

nVidia GF 7600GT, 256 MB, AGP, driver 169.12, Ubuntu 8.04.2, Wine 1.1.14

I upgraded Wine to 1.1.15 and graphic drivers to 180.11 and it's ok now.
