it still will not allow the user to simulate a circuit once it is built. The pspice simulation configuration menus do not even show up in Orcad Capture.
That can be fixed with some registry tweaks (that would be another bug: why the installer doesn't create corresponding resigtry entries for pspice?)
If there is a version that does work well with WINE (will properly simulate circuits built in Capture) do let us know.
I've tried, but I ran into an unimplemented function, here: http://source.winehq.org/source/dlls/ole32/compobj.c#L2288 (that should be a feature request, or some hack is needed). Orcad simply says it cannot initialize the simulation profile.
