Bug ID: 49324 Summary: ApowerMirror crash on startup - program error Product: Wine Version: 5.0 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: loader Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: tmaxcontact@protonmail.com Distribution: ---
Created attachment 67353 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=67353 backtrace
Apologies, I am a complete noob so I'm most likely reporting this incorrectly.
The program error states that it could be an issue with the .exe or Wine (I'm using the stable version).
64bit Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
The .exe is apparently developed for both 32 and 64 bit OSs.
Back trace attached.
I recently ditched Microsoft for Linux completely cold turkey so I'm still getting to grips with how things work. I'm not exactly a techtard so I should be able to give you all the information you need.
This is a paid app so I'm hoping there's a fix.

--- Comment #1 from Louis Lenders xerox.xerox2000x@gmail.com --- Hi,
Apologies, I am a complete noob so I'm most likely reporting this incorrectly.
No problem, but one thing that greatly increases chances of getting feedback/things fixed is provide downloadlink if available. It appears the trial is free, and I could reproduce the same crash
A quick look at +relay log did not show anything obvious and it was only by coincidence (trying a run in an existing prefix) that I found that "winetricks arial" fixes this for me...
Could you try if "winetricks arial" fixes the bug for you too?
(Side note: Also tried to run the app, the "phone applet" appears blank, after "winetricks -q dotnet48" there was a kind of login QR code visible, i stopped testing there)
Regards

--- Comment #3 from tmaxcontact@protonmail.com --- Thanks for the swift response. I managed to get through the installation but then hit the error message posted above.
