Summary: DPP (Digital Photo Professional): Instruments windows returns to its starting position (in the center) automatically when the image windows is selected Product: Wine Version: 1.1.21 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: carlo.pannucci@gmail.com
Tested with DPP 3.5.2 and 2.2 with WINE 1.0.1 and WINE 1.1.21:
When you double click on a listed image, dpp automatically opens an image window and an instruments windows.
Instruments window automatically stay on the top (itsn't possible to change this) and opens in the center of the screen hiding (in part) the opened image below!
When you move the inst. windows away and then re-select the image windows, the inst. windows returns in the center.

--- Comment #1 from Lukas Jirkovsky l.jirkovsky@gmail.com 2009-05-15 04:31:24 --- It can be worked around by deselecting "Allow the window manager to control the windows"

It can be worked around by deselecting "Allow the window manager to control the windows"
Nice solution! The only last problem is that when you use "Allow the window manager to control the windows" deselected you lose the "stay on the top" behavior of the instruments windows, so you can't access to instruments if you enlarge the image window.
