Tested with DPP 3.5.2 and 2.2 with WINE 1.0.1 and WINE 1.1.21:

When you double click on a listed image, dpp automatically opens an image
window and an instruments windows.

Instruments window automatically stay on the top (itsn't possible to change
this) and opens in the center of the screen hiding (in part) the opened image
below!

When you move the inst. windows away and then re-select the image windows, the
inst. windows returns in the center.

It can be worked around by deselecting "Allow the window manager to control the
windows"

Nice solution! The only last problem is that when you use "Allow the window
manager to control the windows" deselected you lose the "stay on the top"
behavior of the instruments windows, so you can't access to instruments if you
enlarge the image window.

Confirmed in 1.1.34, and deselecting "Allow the window manager to control the
windows" it's not an option, it does way more damage than good.

No, it's NOT fixed.

The window still returns to it's original position in wine 1.3.31.

In case this is not clear: the bug is still here on Debian Unstable with a
clean installed Wine 1.3.32.
Although minor, this bug is really annoying when you use a lot DPP.
