Bug ID: 48065 Summary: HeidiSQL 10.1, cannot delete rows Product: Wine Version: 4.0.1 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: marcus.agnusdei@gmail.com Distribution: ---
Created attachment 65612 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=65612 Screenshot of bug report
The new HeidiSQL doesn't seem to be compatible, it starts up but doing actions such as deleting a row results in a fatal error, EAccessViolation.
It is worth noting that 9.5 works fine and 10.2 results in the same error but this is at startup.
I can't export the trace as it won't let me click anything after the error. I have attached a screenshot

Not sure if this is of any help it looks fairly irrelivent to the error. But I have included it anyway. Not sure if there is a way to output this more verbosely.

Have you already tried if "winetricks" comctl32 changes anything? (might require the app installed in a WINEARCH=win32 new prefix but I`m not sure about that)

--- Comment #6 from Damjan Jovanovic damjan.jov@gmail.com --- Firstly the portable versions won't start, when you try connecting to a database, they cannot find a DLL and give a dialog saying the file does not exist.
I tried Wine 4.0.1 and HeidiSQL 10.1.0.5464, and couldn't get it to crash by deleting rows from a "Data" tab with table contents, or deleting sessions from the screen where you choose the database, or deleting columns from the screen where you edit table columns.
Please retry with a clean WINEPREFIX and describe the exact steps that lead to the EAccessViolation.
