--- Comment #2 from Rosanne DiMesio dimesio@earthlink.net --- Instructions for reproducing from the Irfanview forum post that the OR didn't bother to post here:
- Open 2 instances of IrfanView with 2 images. - Select a detail of image 1 and copy it. - Use "Paste special to bottom" to add the detail to image 2. --> Result: the copied image detail is horizontally flipped.
Ulf: in the future, when filing a bug, please include all relevant information in the bug report. People should not have to go to an outside site to find out how to reproduce a problem.
I can confirm this, and it's still present in 1.9.18.

--- Comment #3 from Ulf Zibis Ulf.Zibis@gmx.de --- (In reply to Rosanne DiMesio from comment #2) Thanks Rosanne. Yes, I thought, it was enough to refer to an outside site, sorry: https://irfanview-forum.de/showthread.php?t=10523 Especially, because I more assume, this is a IrfanView bug, I prioritized the discussion there, but unfortunately since today no one tried to compare the behaviour on native Windows.

--- Comment #4 from Ulf Zibis Ulf.Zibis@gmx.de --- Now I can confirm, that the problem is not reproducible on Windows, so the source of the problem seems to be Wine

--- Comment #5 from Artem S. Tashkinov t.artem@mailcity.com --- This bug seems to be resolved in Wine-3.0-rc3. Please retest.

--- Comment #6 from Ulf Zibis Ulf.Zibis@gmx.de --- (In reply to Artem S. Tashkinov from comment #5)
This bug seems to be resolved in Wine-3.0-rc3. Please retest.
Since Wine on Ububuntu was updated to V 3.0, I could retest with IrfanView 64 4.50.
Result: I don't see the bug anymore. Thanks for the work.
