Bug ID: 49736 Summary: TERA (Gameforge version): stuck at loading splash screen after 64 bit update Product: Wine Version: 5.15 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: sickam@mail.ru Distribution: ---
Created attachment 68033 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=68033 Console output
After the last update, which added 64 bit support, I can't start TERA anymore. When I try to do so, it gets stuck in the loading splash screen and I have to kill the process.
Link to the changelog: https://gameforge.com/en-GB/play/tera/news/ee5ee05a-7835-4e02-b69d-24e7be5ea... Launcher: https://gameforge.com/en-US/download
What I did so far: - Created a fresh 64 bit prefix - Installed the Gameforge launcher and TERA
Console output is in the attachment.
Thanks for helping!

--- Comment #1 from Olivier F. R. Dierick o.dierick@piezo-forte.be --- Hello,
Maybe the new version requires 64-bit syscall thunks?
wine-staging as a patch for that, please try wine-staging.
Regards.

--- Comment #5 from wineuser sickam@mail.ru --- Created attachment 68281 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=68281 Example screenshot of the stuck at the loading splash screen
Attached a screenshot of the screen when it gets stuck. Notice, that there's a window opening on the right side with the title 'TERA (64-bit, DX11)', but no matter how long I wait, nothing happens in it. All that can be seen, is a glitched version of other windows (in this case, the one on the right).

Still present in wine-staging 5.22.
Attached is a current console output with DXVK enabled. I noticed these two new lines: 0170:fixme:vulkan:X11DRV_vkCreateWin32SurfaceKHR Application requires child window rendering, which is not implemented yet! err: Failed to create surface
This seems to be related to Bug 45277.

They've also been in the older outputs. Are they relevant? Just wanted to point that out, maybe it'll be helpfull.
