+ Currently Wine applications are not installed by the wine installation process.
+ In particular these are: avitools, regedit, uninstall, notepad, wineconsole,
+ winhelp, regsvr32 (not yet in main CVS). New applications may appear in future.

+ The wine installation process should build these applications, put them in path,
+ configure registry if necessary (e.g. create extention associates for *.txt ->
+ notepad, *.reg -> regedit).
