AutoCAD LT 97 window repaint problem?

When AutoCAD LT 97 is minimized to the task bar and then restored to its former
size by clicking in the task bar button only the main Wine window frame is
restored. The application area is not painted; it still shows the underlying
desktop contents.

If the check box, for “Allow window manager to control the windows”, under
the “graphics” section in “winecfg” is unchecked the application works
fine. The difference is now the icon shows up in the lower left corner of the
desktop and can’t be moved to another location.

There also appears to be some very minor list box font corruption issues too.

This same problem appears in wine 0.9.58 too.

No. Once again this is an old version of the software, dates back to 1997, but
still very usefull.

If you downgrade to Wine 0.9.56, do you still have the same problem? It sounds
like bug 12196.

I read over the bug report. Yes it is that same as what I see. I didn't notice
the tiny rectangle in the uper left corner till I saw it mentioned in the bug
12196 report and went back to look for it.

I'm running Fedora 8 with the Gnome desktop too.

Guess this can be marked as a duplicate of bug 12196.
