It's not going to work under Wine since it requires direct access to
ther hardware, and the crash confirms that the updater loads a kernel
mode driver.

the bug lives at least for the missing ntoskrnl.exe.KeInitializeDpc stub.
Anything beyond this is probably not fixable in near future.

I found another driver using this in "Final Fantasy XI" -> "PlayOnline System
