When launching meditations, downloading the required files for the month fails.

The gui displays:
'ERROR: Connection to the server failed'

Every 10 seconds, the following message is printed to the console:

I'd be a little hesitant to name that message as the culprit; it tends to show
up in a lot of places without being harmful. Still probably worth trying to
implement it, though.
