The installer crashes for me shortly after putting up its GUI.

It looks like a gecko problem.  How does one get symbolic stack
traces from Gecko?  I filed bug 15565 for that question.

This seems to be a regression; last week, I was able to install photoshop cs3
with wine from git.   I will do a regression search if I can find the
time.

The crash happens for me on Ubuntu 7.10 but not on Ubuntu 8.10.

And it seems to be a runtime problem; the wine I built on 
ubuntu 7.10 installs Photoshop CS3 fine on Ubuntu 8.10.

Can anyone else with ubuntu 7.10 reproduce this?  You can
still find the CS3 installer at 
https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop
if you hurry, I think.  Otherwise see

I think I mistyped; it was probably Ubuntu 8.04 where I saw
the problem.

I have since installed Ubuntu 8.10, and the crash seems gone.
Haven't tried in Ubuntu 8.04 lately.
