There are installation instructions on this page for ubuntu ppa setup:
https://www.winehq.org/download/ubuntu
If someone uses a pure 64bit ubuntu, the command:
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
is required before wine installation could work.
If you leave this step out, apt will complain when installing wine, that wine1.7 depends on wine1.7-i386 but thats uninstallable...

I believe the installation instructions should be clear on this step, as wine do depend on this setting, so it should be mentioned both on the gui and the cli part.

I've added the info to http://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu and https://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=25767, which is where the current instructions are.
https://www.winehq.org/download/ubuntu is obsolete now that WineHQ is building packages for Ubuntu, and needs to be either removed entirely or rewritten with instructions for installing the WineHQ packages. My preference is for the former, and I think this bug illustrates nicely why putting the instructions on the wiki is preferable, but I don't make those decisions.

I believe then you should also put a link pointing to the forum on the webpage, like "To install on ubuntu follow these instructions HERE"
(I was using ansible, and the ppa works for me with the add architecture preset)
