I'm using Wine 1.1.23 (compiled from source using gcc version 4.4.0 20090506 (Red Hat 4.4.0-4) ) on Fedora 11 i386.
The problem is that EA Download Manager which is shipped with The Sims 3 shows blank window when trying to open e.g. Settings. This manager is in tray and i click right mouse button on it in and choose Settings.
In terminal there is many of
err:mshtml:read_stream_data OnDataAvailable failed: 80004005 fixme:mshtml:read_stream_data buffer is not empty!

Additional info: when flash installed (through winetricks) then the window is not white inside but magenta

On WindowsXP after flash installed the window goes from magenta to the one seen on image. On Wine it does stay on magenta.

After this steps i can see every EADM window. However i do get often
err:ole:ITypeInfo_fnInvoke did not find member id -514, flags 0x2!

following all the steps mentioned above it does load, and does run, but all of those errors seem to be causing it to not log in propery, i tried overriding ole32 and now it complains i need to install flash.. even though it is already installed
it doesnt work and EA is still making EADM integral to any digitally delivered games

We are getting errors and problems when it attempts to do this - although it could be revolved around that, we would need to prove. I'm guessing this needs more inspection to tell if it's a Wine problem or a Programing Problem.
